Road to Redemption - Palm Sunday: John 12:12-19

As we explore the profound significance of Palm Sunday, we're invited to reflect on Jesus' humble yet triumphant entry into Jerusalem. The story, found in John 12, reveals a beautiful juxtaposition between expectation and reality. We see crowds shouting 'Hosanna' - a cry for salvation - without fully grasping the depth of their words. This event fulfills the prophecy from Zechariah 9:9, showcasing Jesus as the promised Messiah arriving on a donkey - a symbol of peace. The parallel drawn between this humble entry and Christ's future return as described in Revelation 19 challenges us to consider: How do we receive Jesus in our lives today? Are we ready to embrace Him as our humble Savior now, or will we face Him as the conquering King later? This Palm Sunday narrative encourages us to examine our hearts, choose salvation, and actively participate in God's unfolding plan of redemption.
