Men's 3 Day Devotional
July 6, 2026: Experiencing God in Worship: A Journey of the Heart and Spirit

Day 1: The Universal Call to Worship
Matthew 4:10 - “For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.’”
In today’s world, men are often encouraged to chase success, power, and material wealth. However, these pursuits can become forms of worship if they take precedence over our relationship with God. As men, it’s essential to recognize that everyone worships something, but true fulfillment comes when we choose to worship the God of the Bible.
- Identify what you prioritize above all else in your life. Is it your career, wealth, or status?
- Reflect on how you can shift your focus to worship God in your everyday activities.
- Take time in prayer to ask God to help you worship Him with whole-hearted devotion.
“Father, help me recognize the idols in my life and teach me to worship You alone. May my actions, thoughts, and desires be aligned with Your will.”
Day 2: Experiencing God in Worship
James 4:8 - “Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.”
In the busyness of life, it's easy to neglect the presence of God. Experiencing God in worship isn't confined to a church building or a specific service; it can happen wherever we are. Whether you're at work, spending time with family, or enjoying a hobby, these moments can become acts of worship when done with the intention to glorify God.
- Intentionally set aside time today to draw near to God in a way that fits your schedule.
- Consider integrating worship into your daily routine, such as listening to worship music during your commute or pausing to pray during breaks.
- Practice present-moment awareness, inviting God into your everyday tasks and responsibilities.
“Lord, as I draw near to You today, may I experience Your presence in a new and profound way. Help me to worship You in spirit and in truth.”
Day 3: Worship as Our Purpose
Ephesians 1:12 - “We who were the first to set our hope on Christ might be for the praise of His glory.”
As men, we often define ourselves by what we do rather than who we are called to be in Christ. However, our ultimate purpose is to glorify God. Worship is not merely an activity; it is an expression of our identity and purpose. It's what we were created for, and it glorifies God when we live in alignment with His purpose.
- Reflect on how you can use your talents, skills, and daily activities to glorify God.
- Set a goal this week to engage in an act of service or kindness, reflecting God's love to others.
- Join with other believers in corporate worship and encourage each other to live lives that glorify God.
“Heavenly Father, reveal to me how I can live a life that glorifies You. May my words, actions, and decisions reflect Your love and truth. Guide me to live purposefully for Your glory.”
As you embark on this journey of worship over these three days, remember that worship is both an activity and a way of life. It’s about intentionally drawing near to God, consistently aligning yourself with His truth, and glorifying Him in all that you do. May your heart be continually open to His presence, and may your life be a testimony of His glory.
